Biography:

Abdelkrem is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Advanced Manufacturing Lab (AML), school of Engineering at the University of Guelph. Recently, he has been named a Special Graduate Faculty in support of the School of Engineering at the University of Guelph. His core research experience is in advanced and sustainable manufacturing, additive manufacturing, and machining difficult-to-cut material. He is working on a current project related to developing a new 3D printing of a metal powder in cooperation with an industry partner. Abdelkrem has participated in one scientific book and published many journals, reports, and conference papers. He has been successful in several research grants. Abdelkrem has been a reviewer board member of 10 international journals. He has a strong record of teaching undergraduate and graduate mechanical and industrial engineering courses. As a Postdoc at the

University of Guelph, he has worked on several industrial projects. He used his engineering management, optimization, experimental design, solid works, Mastercam, and machine design expertise in these projects. Currently, Abdelkrem is a member of the American Society of Engineering Management (ASEM) and the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering (CSME). His favorite sport is soccer and watching formula one, and he is a member of the SAE racing team at the University of Guelph. He has lived in Guelph, Ontario, since 2014.
